• Profile Design - Penumbra Marine Logistics will develop profiles and concept drawings for new-build and refit projects. Various profile concepts can be instantly generated to produce your personalized design.
• General Arrangement Design - We work with owners and their team to best layout interior spaces for owner's privacy and serviceability. Our team employs a qualified Purser/Chief Stewardess that was instrumental in the LIMITLESS interior layout as well as teaching experience for the American Yachting Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
• Propulsion Design & Layout - Our team will layout an engine room and machinery spaces that will allow engineers to easily service the equipment. This will eliminate any reason for neglect. A well thought out engine room is a well maintained one.
• Specification Development - Contracts are written to guarantee the delivery of the yacht. Specifications define exactly what the owner will be taking delivery of. A bullet Proof specification can produce a top quality yacht from almost any yard in the world. Penumbra Marine is famous for our bullet proof specification that transformed Lurssen's commercial yard into a premier yacht builder.

• AutoCAD & 3-D Modeling - Drawings generated by Penumbra Marine Logistics are compatible with all major yards such as Feadship, Lurssen, Abeking & Rasmussen, Blohm & Voss, Trinity, Delta, Amels, etc, etc. This allows a faster and more accurate way to liaise between our offices and the yards. 3-D Modeling will allow the owner to see the finished area prior to build and to eliminate any mistakes or questions by builders.
• Bid Packages - Penumbra Marine Logistics can supply full bid packages with the design, specifications and if needed, a full set of Architectural drawings can be generated that will allow yards to accurately, and immediately start cutting metal.
• Architectural and Structural Drawings - Controlling the architectural drawings can be a benefit to yacht owners and allows a more precise bid package to be sent out. Some yards actually buy projects and then cut corners on their design hours. They do this by allowing the actual laborers to build it as they see fit, or has they have done before. Laborers will never be required to maintain, service, or even know if an installation was successful. We DO know because we have repaired or improved many mistakes by these non seagoing laborers.
• Brokerage - As a brokerage firm, we are aware of construction costs of various projects. A brokerage firm will also have the potential to bring many clients to a particular yard. Therefore, builders may not sharpen their pencil for a one off client. Our firm can offer special brokerage packages for your present yacht versus a new-build.
• Project Management - Penumbra Marine Logistics provides project management for your new-build or refit. We work well with existing onsite captains/engineers and maintain full records for your crew or in the event of a crew change. We can supply an onsite build engineer for the duration of your build/refit and find many yards receptive to our hands on experience. This person is backed by the entire Penumbra Marine Logistics team to best resolve any issue that may come up. Our team of licensed professionals will most likely prevail when questions arise that should only be answered by those with practical shipboard experience.
• After Delivery Support - Penumbra Marine Logistics can provide after delivery support for the captain, engineer, or owner if a sudden resignation or termination occurs. Our records and background can be invaluable when hiring new, unfamiliar crew for your yacht.
• ISM & ISPS - Due to popular request, Penumbra Marine Logistics will be offering ISM and ISPS support for selected owners and crew. As a company with seagoing and security experience we can help eliminate as much paperwork as legally possibility by the governing bodies. These services will be available by request.
